Personally, this show is not a good adaptation or a good stand alone watch. It's rushed, as it takes about an hour to condense 20+ chapters of a very heavy monologue and dialogue story (which itself is not good to adapt to a show if you're not doing anything innovative tbh). I don't understand why I'm liking this. I was initially pissed off at it. It opens with a "quote" from Voltaire that he never actually said. (It was a forward comment written by the person who did a compilation of his stuff I believe, and then was mis-attributed to him and "went viral" as it were). Very underated show. The two main protagonists have great chemistry and we slowly learing more about their past and how they got to pair up. The show so far is basically 5 different incidents starting with the opening act in one episode and the closing act in the next, so I understand why some people wouldn't enjoy that and would prefer a more stright... read more
