Fruits Basket is a name that makes sense, but it's sort of deceptive. The point of the name is that the show is about putting things, aside from fruits, in the fruits basket. I'd say this was a solid anime. It had great action, and a decent cast. It has the perfect set up for the major villain that the MC will have to take down. The truth is, this show is okay, definitely of 'okay' or 'fine', nothing particularly stands out at all, the core theme is mecha fights, but the mecha fights aren't that intense or have any interesting plot driving it home, very basic overall story, characters, plot, pretty much everything.
