'100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru' 2nd Season Reveals Additional Cast, Third Promo
Warner Bros. Japan released the third promotional video for the second season of the 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru (I'm standing on 1,000,000 lives.) anime series on Wednesday, revealing two additional cast members. The new season will premiere with a recap episode on July 3 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, with later broadcasts on additional stations. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series with English subtitles.Voice actor Yoshimasa Hosoya (Hortensia Saga) and voice actress Saori Hayami (Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld) will be joining the second season cast as Thanzamer and Glenda Carter, respectively.
Director Kumiko Habara (Angolmois: Genkou Kassenki assistant director) is returning to helm the second season at Maho Film, with Takao Yoshioka (Shichisei no Subaru) once again in charge of series composition. Kaho Deguchi (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko), Eri Kojima (Carole & Tuesday animation director), and Toshihide Masudate (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) are designing the characters based on Akinari Nao's original designs.
Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao began serializing the television anime's source fantasy action manga in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in June 2016. Kodansha published the 11th compiled volume on December 9, and the 12th volume set to ship on July 9.
The first season aired in Fall 2020 with 12 episodes that covered up to chapter 12 of the manga. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime as it aired in Japan.
